Auguste Rodin

Auguste Rodin (1840- 1917) was a french sculpture.
I find any large form of human sculpture fascinating, especially when its this lifelike. I can't contemplate how it would be created or how difficult it must be. Rodin's sculptures were different than most, rather than be satuesque and posed they were more about emotion and character. One of his most famous pieces (The Kiss) seems so delicate for such a heavy material. Also shown are Eternal Springtime and The Thinker
